No grid needed
Off-Grid System
What you get
| Inverter | Off-grid inverter with MPPT charge controller |
|---|---|
| Battery | Sized for two days of autonomy |
| Grid connection | Not required |
| Typical use | Farm pump, borewell, remote site |
An off-grid system carries the whole load on its own. There is no grid to fall back on, so the battery and the panel array both have to be sized for the worst week of the year, not the average one.
That makes it the most expensive way to buy solar per unit generated, and it is the right answer only when there genuinely is no connection — a farm pump, a borewell, a site office, a house where the line has never reached.
If you have a connection and it is simply unreliable, you want the hybrid system, not this one.
